THE Ospreys have been dealt an injury blow with centre Ashley beck ruled out for at least six weeks.
Beck picked up ankle problem against the Dragons on New Year's Eve.
As well as the rest of the Heineken Cup pool stages, it will also rule the 22-year-old out of the start of the Six Nations.
The Ospreys' head physio Chris Towers said: "Ashley suffered a significant ligament injury to his ankle during the New Year's Eve fixture.
"We've conducted investigations over the last week to determine the full extent of the ligament damage and plan his rehabilitation effectively.
"Based on the advice received, we are currently treating this as a six-to-eight week injury so would expect to see him back in action by the end of February."
