TEAMS are being sought for a new forces charity golf day in the Swansea Valley.
The West Glamorgan arm of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), in association with Pontardawe Golf Club, is to hold a first annual golf tournament, in aid of SSAFA forces, on Friday, from 9am.
Organisers are looking for teams of four to enter at a cost of £30 per person to support the charity that helps servicemen and women get back on their feet again after setbacks.
A spokeswoman said: "Included in the cost are refreshments during registration and two-course meal on completion.
"There will be a presentation of awards and light evening entertainment from 7.30pm.
"Local accommodation is available for people travelling from afar."
