STAFF at Coeden Fach Community Tree Nursery have thanked volunteers for their sterling efforts in the organisation's annual report.
The countryside centre at Bishop's Wood, Caswell Bay, is home to a timber-framed, turf-roofed shelter which volunteers worked on for more than 200 hours.
In March a new wildlife pond was constructed.
The group's trustees have decided that Coeden Fach should become a community interest company (CIC). They said this form of social enterprise provided increased legal protection.
Centre stuff ran projects at all of Gower's schools. Bishopston primary now has a wildflower meadow, and trees were planted at the comprehensive.
