A FUNDRAISING night has been staged in Swansea to help some of the poorest people in the world.
A total of 50 guests went along to the occasion at the city's Mansion House which was held by Swansea's Action Aid.
The organisation's minutes secretary Margaret Williams said the charity had previously staged a number of fundraisers at the venue.
Mrs Williams said the event was well attended.
She said: "It went really well and we had about 50 people there.
"Action Aid is an organisation like Christian Aid which aims to help the poorest people in the world."
