AN inquest has been opened into the death of Swansea man Gareth Colfer-Williams, who had been suffering from measles.
The 25-year-old, of Port Tennant, was discovered by a relative at his home on the morning of April 18.
Yesterday's hearing heard that a postmortem was carried out on April 25.
Swansea coroner Philip Rogers said consultant pathologist Dr Maurizio Brotto was still waiting for some test results, and that some tissue will be retained for continued sampling.
Mr Rogers said Mr Culfer-Williams, of Port Tennant Road, was a single man and unemployed at the time of his death.
Death certificates have been issued, and the family has requested cremation.
Mr Rogers said: "I am going to adjourn the inquest until we have the outcome of the postmortem, and the inquest will be resumed at a date to be advised when these results are through."
Mr Colfer-Williams was a former Morriston Comprehensive pupil, who had five sisters. He was father to three-year-old daughter Dakota.
His mother, Angela Colfer, told the Post in the wake of his death: "He was a wonderful son and a wonderful father, uncle and brother."
