A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after his lorry crashed on one of Swansea's busiest roads this morning.
It is understood the Primark delivery truck was heading out of the city centre in Fabian Way when it crossed the carriageway into oncoming traffic, hit a lamp post, and ended-up on the embankment outside McDonald's.
Emergency services, including the Wales Air Ambulance, were called to the incident just after 10am and police said one male casualty in his 40s has been taken to Morriston Hospital — his injuries and condition are not yet known.
Meanwhile, one lane of Fabian Way both into and out of Swansea has been closed, causing major tailbacks to the former Visteon factory site.
