FORMER Glamorgan all-rounder James Harris has been named in a 30-man England Performance Squad (EPS) for the 2013 international season.
The 22-year-old is included in a squad headed by Test and one-day skipper Alastair Cook.
The announcement marks another significant step towards Harris reaching his goal of full senior honours with the Pontarddulais talent having left Glamorgan to join Middlesex at the end of last season.
ECB national selector Geoff Miller said: "The players included in this squad reflect the progress they have made with senior England teams and the England Lions over the last 12 months.
"All of the players named in the EPS squad have been involved with one or more of the England squads during the winter, with the exception of Chris Tremlett who has been going through a rehabilitation process."
Over the winter, Harris received a call-up to England's T20 squad in India and T20 and one-day party in New Zealand, but was unused in both series.
