A CAR overturned during evening rush hour traffic, bringing commuter chaos to Swansea.
Eyewitnesses said two cars were involved in a collision near the Poet's Corner public house on Oystermouth Road at around 5.45pm yesterday.
One of the vehicles was said to have travelled "spectacularly" through the air.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but it is believed no- one suffered serious injuries.
An eyewitness said he was driving westward at around 5.45pm when he saw a car "bouncing onto its roof" in the eastbound carriageway.
Another driver heading west, Mr Rob O'Shea, said: "I was driving past and I saw a car on its roof. Another car had pulled on to the pavement nearby, perhaps to help.''
A spokesman for the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it had attended the scene at the request of the Wales Ambulance Service but was unable to provide further details last night.
