Two men have been rescued from a river in Rhondda Cynon Taf by firefighters using a rope and a ladder.
Firefighters were alerted after police officers tried to rescue the pair at Senghenydd Street, Treorchy, at about 12.30am earlier this morning.
It is not known how the men came to be in the water.
The men were pulled from the water by firefighters using a 7m (22ft) ladder, rope and life-jackets.
Paramedics took them to hospital. Their condition is not known.
