NEIL Taylor hailed Swansea City's professionalism as they eased into the Europa League play-offs. Michael Laudrup's side had completed the hard work at the Liberty Stadium when beating Malmo 4-0, and were rarely troubled on Thursday as they claimed a goalless draw in Sweden. And Taylor, named this week in the Wales squad to face the Republic of Ireland next Wednesday, was happy with the performance at the Swedbank Stadion. It's our first taste of an away European game. It's a job done and another clean sheet," said the left-back, one of seven changes from the first-leg clash. "We did the job well — we were efficient." Swansea were not at their fluent best, but created the better chances, with Wilfried Bony denied a goal when wrongly ruled offside, while Jonathan de Guzman could have been awarded a late penalty. Taylor told the club website: "It was a solid performance — nothing more, nothing less. "We could have created more and hopefully got a few goals, but overall it's a job well done. "When you are in these ties, for the first 20 or 30 minutes you don't want to give the opposition a sniff in order for them to create a comeback. "We weren't completely all there in terms of flowing passing football, but for everything else we were there. "The No. 1 rule in football is that if it's not perfect for you, then you make sure you're solid defensively — and that's what we did."
