PORT Talbot Town have signed 18-year-old former Bristol City midfielder Miles John.
John has been training with the first-team squad following his release from the League One side over the summer.
John has featured in both of Port Talbot's pre-season fixtures and has convinced manager Scott Young to offer him a place in his squad for the coming season.
Young said: "Miles cropped up on our a radar a couple of weeks ago following his release from Bristol City. He's come in so we can have a look at him and he's done well. He's got a good football brain, he's quick and we've decided to take him. He has got a lot of work to do on his strength, but I think he'll get there."
Port Talbot continue their pre-season build-up with the short trip to Briton Ferry Llansawel today (3pm).
