ALAN Tate has admitted he is uncertain what the future holds after joining Yeovil Town on loan. The Swansea City stalwart has penned a deal keeping him with the Glovers until January 2. Tate's initial target is to help Yeovil acclimatise in what is their first ever Championship season. But the former Manchester United youngster, who has two years to run on his Swansea contract, is unsure what will come after his initial spell at Huish Park. "In the short term my ambition is to come to Yeovil, play well and help keep them in this league," Tate said. "In the long term, I haven't got any plans at the minute. "I'm just dealing with what's happening at the minute, and that's just doing well for Yeovil really." Yeovil, who were beaten 5-0 by Swansea in a friendly last week, are being tipped to struggle this season having won promotion via the League One play-off final. But Tate will draw on his experiences at Swansea as the Somerset club bid to upset the odds. "You've got to be confident," he added. "I've been through the same thing with Swansea in every division. "We got promoted from League Two to League One and we were tipped for relegation. "Then we were tipped for relegation when we got into the Championship, then again when we got to the Premier League. "It's never occurred so, speaking from experience, just because people tip you for something, it doesn't mean it's necessarily going to happen."
