ROLL up, roll up! The circus is in town.

Uncle Sam's Great American Circus will be in Llanelli tonight and tomorrow night.

The show — which comes to town every year — rolled into town on Wednesday as part of its tour of Wales.

Guests will be able to enjoy a range of good clean American fun, featuring daring stunts, crazy clowns and mysterious magic tricks.

The distinctive big top has been pitched at the Parc y Scarlets car park, with entertainment for the whole family.

But instead of clowns, elephants and popcorn, visitors will have a different experience.

Last year, thrill-seekers were treated to the duo Valdemar spinning around the roof on the giant wheel of death, trapeze artists swinging 40ft above the audience and acrobats flying through the air on the Russian swing and the springboard.

And this year's show promises a host of new star acts, performing in the UK for the first time.

Last year ringmaster Matthew Wingate said: "And the act you have all been waiting for, Uncle Sam's Great American Circus proudly presents the death-defying thunderball riders, daredevil motorcycle performers.

"It's a fantastic entertaining show for all the family."

Shows are taking place today at 1.30pm, 4pm and 6.30pm, and tomorrow at 2pm and 4.30pm.
