SWANSEA Valley pupils have been rewarded for producing a video explaining why their school was sustainable.
Year six pupils from Ysgol Bro Tawe have won a planter after producing footage that showed their new school and how it was a vital part of their education.
All the new schools in Ystradgynlais were invited to take part in the competition that was organised as part of the CLAW Spring Conference being hosted by Powys County Council.
CLAW is the Consortium of Local Authorities in Wales that supports the professional and technical interests of property management in local government in Wales.
The planter, which was donated by the council's Outdoor Recreation Service, was presented to the winning pupils.
The planter arrived flat packed and pupils spent a fun 15 minutes working as a team to put the planter together. They were helped by Coed Cymru Officer Mike Richards and Outdoor Recreation Officer (South) Steve Butcher, who were involved in the development of the planter.
