SWANSEA City target Nathan Redmond is reportedly on the verge of signing for Norwich City.
Swansea had a bid accepted for Redmond, but the teenage Birmingham winger has opted to move to Carrow Road, where he will be reunited with former Blues manager Chris Hughton.
Redmond is expected in Norwich to undergo a medical for a transfer worth an initial £2 million, with a further £1.2 million in add-ons.
As many as eight Premier League clubs were in interested in the Birmingham academy product, but only Norwich and Swansea had their offers accepted.
Redmond impressed for England at this summer's Under-21 European Championship, but the Blues' financial difficulties meant they were forced to sell the 19-year-old.
Hughton was Birmingham's manager when Redmond began playing regular first-team football during the 2011-12 campaign, and the opportunity to work with the former Newcastle boss appears to have convinced the young winger to choose Norwich over Swansea.
