A WOMAN who was behind the wheel when a car flipped over in Loughor was found to be over the drink-drive limit.
Police were called to the incident in Pont yr Cob Road on April 30, where they found a VW Polo on its roof.
Cory Sadler, of Castle Street, Loughor, was found to have 108 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when tested by police officers.
Prosecuting, Sharon Anderson said Sadler had drunk four gin and tonics at the local boating club, and another glass of wine at home, but had gone out after an argument with her boyfriend.
"The car clipped the kerb, which resulted in going over," she said.
Mitigating, Dan Heard said: "She had an argument with her ex partner. Children were present and she felt a need to leave the house to take herself away from the situation. When returning home, she clipped the kerb, which resulted in the accident. She accepts she had something to drink earlier, but felt by that time she was under the limit."
She was disqualified from driving for 14 months, fined £110, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
