SWANSEA City are in contention to sign Udinese's coveted striker Matej Vydra on loan, according to the player's agent.
The Czech Republic international scored 22 Championship goals on loan at Watford last season, and has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
West Brom, Sunderland and West Ham are also keen on the 21-year-old, who would be available on a season-long loan.
Udinese were initially looking to sell Vydra for around £8 million, but his valuation seemed to deter any potential suitors.
The Italian side are now willing to allow Vydra another loan move, and his agent Ondrej Chovanec expects the player to enter talks with Swansea and their competitors next week.
"We agreed that none of the offers (for a permanent transfer) are in the region that would interest Udinese," said Chovanec.
"They don't want to sell him for £8million so they have given us freedom to discuss loan spells with the Premier League clubs that are interested.
"At the moment we have offers from four Premier League clubs - West Brom, West Ham, Swansea and Sunderland."
Swansea are eager to sign a striker this summer in order to ease the goalscoring burden on last term's leading marksman Michu.
Reports in Holland claim the Swans have made a "very serious" bid for Vitesse Arnhem's £10 million-rated Wilfried Bony, while Michael Laudrup is also interested in Lyon's Bafetimbi Gomis and Standard Liege prospect Michy Batshuayi.
Swansea's only summer signing so far is midfielder Jose Canas, who has joined from Real Betis on a free transfer.
The Swans are confident, however, of concluding deals for Espanyol defender Jordi Amat and another Real Betis midfielder, Alejandro Pozuelo, this week.
