POLICE are appealing for information on an alleged assault in Porthcawl.
A 31-year-old man was taken to Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, with a cut to his head following an incident during the early hours of yesterday.
It happened in the Esplanade at 2.20am.
Officers arrested a 21-year-old man at the scene, later releasing him on police bail while inquiries continued.
