THE National Assembly for Wales is helping Welsh Cubs earn their Democracy Challenge Badge.
The Democracy Challenge Badge encourages young people to explore and learn about the democratic processes of the United Kingdom, Wales and Welsh local authorities, to ensure that they are better placed to make their own judgements in the future and to take part in democracy.
As part of the Democracy Challenge Badge the National Assembly for Wales has created resources that will help Scouts, from every age range, to complete some of their requirements in a fun and interactive way.
The resources, which include presentations and booklets about the National Assembly and democracy in Wales, will be available from the Assembly's website.
All Wales Cub Scout Fun Day, at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, takes place on Saturday and is expected to draw thousands of Cub Scouts.
