A FAMILY of Romany Gypsies have been given permission to stay on a temporary site in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Powys Council intends to spend more than £2 million on a new camp in Brecon next year and the family have now been given permission to stay on land near the town until February 2014.
Swansea Council is currently in the process of identifying a new site for travellers.
Five sites have been shortlisted by the local authority, including what would be a second site in Llansamlet.
