WANTED: Someone to win the heart of The Call Centre worker George whose love life has been put on hold?
George Varkos has emerged as an unlikely star of hit fly-on-the wall Swansea TV documentary series The Call Centre.
In a series full of larger-than-life characters lead by boss Nev Wilshire, the quiet 30-year-old has emerged as a viewers' favourite — and his single status has provoked quite a bit of interest.
But his six years of singledom could be about to change — Nev the call centre cupid is determined to find him a woman who rings his bell.
George said: "It all started with a company speed dating event organised by Nev — as usual I didn't get a date at the end of the night.

"After that Nev went on a quest to find me a date, he wanted to make posters, go on Twitter everything — that is what Nev is like."
London-born George, who has lived in Swansea since his late teens, said he was "always" on the lookout for a date but had so far failed to make any connections.
Manager Twe Williams — another star of the show — said film buff George would made an ideal partner.
And Twe said he had a message for all the single ladies in South West Wales. "George is a lovely guy with a heart of gold," he said.
"When he came here he was very quiet but we brought him out of his shell.
"I doesn't really drink or go to bars much which makes it hard to meet people.
"Any woman would be silly not to get in touch."
When asked if he had a message for the women of Wales, George said he agreed with Twe.
The Call Centre — being shown on BBC Three — follows life in Swansea's third largest call centre, the Enterprise Zone-based Save Britain Money.
The boss is Gower-born Nev — dubbed Dai Brent by some people because of his management style which has more than a hint of the Ricky Gervais character David Brent about it.
Many of the characters in the programme have now signed up with talent agency Seven Stars.
George — whose CV ranges from flipping burgers in McDonald's to cleaning chalets in Butlin's Minehead — said he enjoyed working on the phones.
He said: "Of course we have to get the job done but we can also relax and have fun.
"Some people find coming to work a chore but for me it is a pleasure.
"It is absolutely great working here."
