A NEATH Valley road was closed for two hours today following a collision between cyclists. It happened on the B4242 Glynneath Road this afternoon. Police say there were no vehicles involved. One man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Witnesses said five bikes taking part in an organised event were involved in the collision near the old Rheola Market. A South Wales Police spokesman said the call came in at 1.23pm. "We closed the road between the McDonald's in Glynneath and the Resolven roundabout at 1.36pm," he said. "It remained closed until 3.28pm. "There were no motor vehicles involved, and my understanding is that one male was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries."
