MICHAEL Hogan struck a crucial late blow to boost Glamorgan's hopes of a second LV= County Championship victory in a row.
The Australian bowler took the wicket of South African Test batsman Ashwell Prince to reduce Lancashire to 104-4 in their second innings at Colwyn Bay.
They remain 15 runs adrift of Glamorgan with just six wickets remaining.
Prince and Australian Simon Katich had been looking to derail Glamorgan's hopes of their second consecutive win in Division Two.
They had combined for a patient partnership of 52 before Hogan trapped Prince leg before just before the close.
Command
It was Hogan's third wicket after he had Luke Procter caught behind by Mark Wallace, then bowled Karl Brown.
The other wicket fell to Mike Reed, who had Paul Horton caught by Mark Wallace for 24.
Glamorgan's batsmen had earlier put the hosts in command.
Resuming from an overnight score of 110-4, Murray Goodwin struck 69 and Jim Allenby 46 as the Welsh county eased past their opponents' first innings of 123.
But after Allenby was caught by Steven Croft off the bowling of Simon Kerrigan, the wickets began to tumble at regular intervals.
Wallace was dismissed by Kerrigan for a duck, while John Glover fell to the same man for nine.
Dean Cosker and Hogan could only make ten each and then Goodwin was bowled by Kyle Hogg to end Glamorgan's first innings on 242 after 83.5 overs.
