MORE than 1,800 people were vaccinated at four drop-in MMR clinics in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend yesterday.
It is the highest number of people who have been vaccinated in the drop-in clinics so far.
At Morriston Hospital, 341 were given the injection, 302 at Singleton Hospital, 455 at Neath Port Talbot Hospital and 727 at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.
This was the third round of drop-in MMR clinics, and the last two weeks have each seen around 1,700 people vaccinated.
A fourth round of clinics will also be held next Saturday.
The health board's schools' vaccination programme also continues, with 10 comprehensive schools in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot involved this week.
Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board's Director of Public Health, Sara Hayes, said she was delighted with the turn out.
"I'm really pleased," she said.
"We have seen a steady flow of people throughout the day; and I'm particularly delighted to see a higher number of older children and teenagers come through the door, as they are our main target group."
