ANGEL Rangel insists he is not worried by rumours of big clubs circling around Swansea City's star players. Ashley Williams has been linked with an £8 million move to Arsenal, while Liverpool are also thought to be interested in the Wales international. Michu is another to be the subject of transfer speculation after exploding onto the Premier League scene this season. Some fear that top-flight heavyweights may be ready to swoop for Swansea stars when the transfer window reopens this summer. But Rangel is unconcerned by the attention being paid to Michael Laudrup's prize assets. He doesn't think anyone wants to leave the Liberty and reckons Swansea have proved in the past that they can cope with high-profile departures. "I think it's pointless to talk about transfers at the moment because the season is not over," said the right-back. "We've had a great season, winning the cup, so there is a chance that bigger teams will want to sign our players. "I don't think there is any player that wants to move. If they do we will see in the summer. "But it is not easy to leave Swansea unless teams pay the right money. "Last summer there were big players like Joe Allen and Scott Sinclair who left. "They left a hole, but they have been replaced. "Whoever wants to leave, Swansea will still be Swansea, the style of football will not change." Rangel recently signed a new three-year contract at the Liberty so is one player that seems certain to stick around. "There are so many rumours flying about, we know that. "When we first got into the Championship there were a few players that wanted to leave, then in the Premier League there were others. "It has been proved time after time that when they move they are not happy and they want to come back. One of the only players that has left and done well is Andrea Orlandi at Brighton. "There are always going to be rumours, but I'm not fussed if people want to leave. "I don't want to. "If someone gets the chance to go to a big club, and as we are in the top ten I'm talking about the top five, then fine. "The likes of Tottenham and Chelsea are moves you can't really reject, but otherwise why would you move from Swansea?" Meanwhile, Swansea left-back Neil Taylor made his first appearance since breaking his ankle in September as he played 45 minutes for the Swans' Under-21 side against QPR on Thursday. The Welsh international continued his recovery with an encouraging first-half display before being replaced by Connor Roberts at the interval. The Swans were 1-0 up by the time Taylor was substituted, Josh Sheehan scoring from a fine cross by Curtis Obeng. Despite having a penalty saved by Swansea's David Cornell, Marc Bircham's side won 2-1 thanks to two goals from Peter Skapetis.
