A MURDER trial jury is due to return tomorrow to consider its verdict in the case of a Maesteg man accused of stabbing a passer-by for disturbing him in the bath.
Stuart Worvell, 22, was listening to loud music in the tub when he heard a series of loud knocks on the front door of his home.
The court was told passer-by Thomas Sutton, 20, heard the bath-time music - and thought there was a party going on in Worvell's house.
The murder trial heard Worvell opened the door and stabbed Thomas Sutton nine times with a six-inch kitchen knife.
Worvell is also accused of stabbing Mr Thomas's friend Kyle Harris, 18.
He survived the alleged attack after trying to intervene and save his best friend.
The defendant has claimed that he acted in self-defence after Thomas and Kyle, both of Caerau, Maesteg, attempted to attack him with pieces of wood.
But no defence was heard in the trial and the jury were sent out for their deliberations after the judge's summing up at Cardiff Crown Court.
The jury spent an hour in deliberation today until they were sent home for the day to return in the morning.
