OF the thousands of Swansea City fans descending on Wembley tomorrow you will be hard pressed to find anyone more excited than Tyler Lucas.
The 11-year-old will be one of the first on the pitch ahead of kick-off when he leads his hometown club out at the home of English football.
The Ysgol Bryn Tawe pupil has been given the honour after winning a competition run by the club which saw him draw a picture of his favourite player, left-back Ben Davies.
And Tyler was the centre of attention at school yesterday as Cyril the Swan presented him with a special club shirt and flag which he will use on Sunday.
Dad Simon Lucas said: "He is getting more and more excited as it gets closer.
"I am excited for him and I wish it was me but I think I am a bit too old now.
"We are heading up to London today and we need to be at the ground by 2.30pm. We are going to meet up with friends in a few in the pubs beforehand and then his mum Clare is going to take him into the ground.
"He was excited about Cyril going along to the school. He was given a new shirt and the Swans flag as well. The girls with the club were taking it back to the office as we don't want anything to happen to it before the game.

"He has had to have new togs as well for the day, the orange and black ones Ashley Williams wears. He has had SCFC 13 embroidered on to them too."
The family, from Llansamlet will be looking on proudly on Sunday when they watch Tyler lead the team out in front of more than 33,000 Swansea fans.
"I don't think there will be anyone left in Swansea on the weekend, most of the people who couldn't get tickets will be in the pub. It will be a nice day to go for a drive," said Mr Lucas.
"We will be watching with family and friends and our daughter Cleo, 14, will also be coming along."
Headteacher at Bryn Tawe, Graham Daniels, said: "We are very proud of Tyler, and as faithful Swans supporters we of course all wish them success on Sunday."
