BRITON Ferry councillors are to suggest that computers from the former Communities First building be placed in the library.
Community education hub Community House, in Llansawel Crescent — the former home of Briton Ferry Communities First — closed its doors on December 21.
It housed computers which had been used by residents for training and activities. They have now been put into storage.
At a town council meeting councillors said they would like to see them put back in the community.
Councillor Hugh James said: "The favoured place is probably here (the library). It would help this building."
Deputy mayor Susan Davies added: "It would be nice to see them in the library."
Councillor Colin Morgan said he has asked for a feasibility study on the building.
Clerk David Isaac said he would send their suggestion to Neath Port Talbot Council.
