SPONSOR Capital One has revealed nearly a third of football fans have a pre-match ritual.
The league cup sponsor found 30 per cent of supporters have one and 50 per cent even admitted they felt their ritual had a direct impact on the forthcoming match.
Michael Woodburn, chief marketing officer with Capital One said: "If you find your partner kissing a friend on the head, endlessly repeating the same song, or sneaking a cuddly toy out of the house you can guess it's match day."
