POLICE have made a fresh appeal over an accident in Swansea's Fabian Way which left a pedestrian seriously injured.
They want to hear from the driver of a white Skoda-style taxi in connection with the incident.
It happened at around 11.15pm on Saturday, February 9, at the junction with Port Tennant Road.
Police believe the taxi driver was travelling towards the city centre when he stopped at the traffic lights at the junction.
He spoke to a 21-year-old male pedestrian who was leaning against a roadside cabinet.
Shortly after, the pedestrian was crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with a black Skoda Octavia car travelling towards the city centre.
The injured man was taken to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, where his condition is described as serious.
Sergeant Rowan Moore of the roads policing department said: "We urgently need to speak with the driver of the white Skoda taxi as he may be holding information which could be vital to our investigation.
"I am again reiterating our appeal for this taxi driver or anyone who can help us to identify him to come forward as soon as possible"
Anyone with information should contact South Wales Police Roads Policing unit on 101 or 01656 655555, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
